On 恩
The word 'on' in the Japanese classics is translated as 'blessing', 'mi-itsukushimi' and refers to grace or mercy given by another person. When plants and trees sprout, as the life force of plants and trees that had been hibernating is awakened by the spring air. One gives life to another or helps life to grow, it is considered as blessing/'on'. We receive grace from heaven, earth and man in a wide range of ways. Giving back the kindness I have received, sending one favour to another, the world will be filled with love.
